The last record of a brewery in Limekilns in Fife dates from 1849. Brew Shed Beers revives a tradition of local breweries serving their neighbourhood. This time from a tiny brewery behind my house. We produce beers in casks and bottles, which you can find at:
The Ship Inn – Limekilns: cask beer every week with bottles also available
The Corner Shop – Crossgates: bottles
Ardross Farm Shop – Elie: bottles
Local village events will, I hope, always have a Brew Shed presence. Forthcoming events will be:
Limekilns River Festival – a celebration of Limekilns’ seafaring history – 10 June 2017 from 10am Link
Limekilns Sale on the Green – local craft stalls, food and beer – 24 June from 12 noon. Link
Pop-up Shop (licence permitting) at Woodlea Stables nr Crossgates – 1 July from 10am
Limekilns Gala – kid-focused Gala with bouncy castles, food, live bands and beer! 12 August from 12 noon
